HUNTER VALLEY, Australia -- Winemakers in Australia's Hunter Valley are looking forward with cautious optimism to China ending three years of tariffs on their products, even as producers elsewhere in the country say the reprieve will come too late or that they have since moved on from what was once their biggest market.

"It's great news for the wine industry," Stuart Hordern, chief winemaker at Brokenwood Wines, said.
