ANSHUN, China -- China's domestic whiskey industry is on the rise, led by entrepreneurs looking to follow in the footsteps of Japan's industry to find global success.
Craft beer brewery PandaBrew, based in the small city of Anshun, Guizhou province, in western China, recently started distilling whiskey. It is currently resting nearly 2,000 barrels made from imported barley malt.
