TOKYO -- The company that came up with clear soy sauce had a higher ambition: offering see-through snacks that look and taste refreshing to those suffering through Japan's unusually hot summer.
Curious customers tasted the offerings, developed by soy sauce maker Fundodai, at a store in Tokyo's Asakusa district this month.
