TOKYO -- The head of Godiva Japan says traditional Japanese sweets may soon be on the menu as the group behind the high-end chocolate brand looks to build a global "luxury" food group based in Tokyo.

Godiva Japan President and CEO Jerome Chouchan touted the country's reputation for culinary excellence and strong local food culture in an interview with Nikkei Asia.
