TOKYO -- Japanese food service company Colowide plans to have 55 restaurants across the Middle East in operation by the year ending March 2030, starting with a location of its Gyu-Kaku Japanese barbecue chain in Dubai.
Colowide is setting up a $4.1 million joint venture with a core unit of the United Arab Emirates' Chinese Palace Group toward this goal. Colowide will provide 60% of the funds through Reins International, the unit in charge of the Gyu-Kaku chain.
