TOKYO -- Mos Food Services, operator of the Mos Burger chain, will introduce bioplastic spoons and forks made from rice-based material as part of a push to use less plastic.

The cutlery will be first rolled out at restaurants in Tokyo and Osaka this August and will be made available at all 1,250 locations nationwide from October. It will be given to customers who place takeout orders for soup or salads.
