TOKYO -- Japanese trading house Sojitz announced Tuesday that it will enter the Vietnam restaurant market with compatriot Royal Holdings, opening a Western-style restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City on April 18.
Sojitz will utilize its food wholesale and logistics operations there as a supply chain. Kicking off with The Royal, it plans to expand into a wide range of restaurants, including Japanese cuisine, mainly in Ho Chi Minh City.
