TOKYO -- Trading house Mitsui & Co. and restaurant operator Ichibanya are raising the profile of Japanese restaurant chain Curry House CoCo Ichibanya in the home of curry: India.

Seeing growth potential for Japanese cuisine in India, the partners will introduce more people in the country to Japanese-style curry dishes, as well to as Western-style dishes popular in Japan, opening the chain’s second restaurant in India.
