SEOUL -- South Korean instant noodle maker Samyang Roundsquare is expanding its production capacity in a bid to boost sales overseas. Formerly known as Samyang Foods Group, the company has a new plant under construction in the southeastern part of the country, which it is positioning as a strong base for exports.
Samyang Roundsquare will "stick with made-in-Korea products," CEO Kim Jung-soo said, stressing her company's policy of focusing on domestic production during a recent interview with Nikkei.
