SYDNEY -- Suntory Beverage & Food is aiming to increase sales of its Boss Coffee brand in Australia, the company has said, capitalizing on a growing beverage market as the country's population increases.

Australia notably has its own coffee culture that features a strong presence of independent coffee shops. Even the Starbucks chain, which has some 2,000 coffeehouses in Japan, operates only 70 or so outlets in Australia.
