OSAKA -- The company behind Sushiro, Japan's largest conveyor belt sushi chain, will partner with a Japanese startup to farm sea urchins on land, Nikkei has learned.

Known as uni in Japan, sea urchins are a delicacy that is popular with foreign tourists. A large-scale uni farming operation on land is highly unusual.
