SINGAPORE -- Malaysia is working to capitalize on the popularity of durian, with cafes highlighting sweets on social media and farms that grow the famously pungent fruit reporting a strong uptick in tour bookings from China and Southeast Asia.
At the Kuala Lumpur cafe DurianBB World, customers can try small portions of fresh durian, as well as cakes and other sweets made with the fruit.
