Taiwan-born brewer adds prewar twist to Japanese sake

HIROSHIMA, Japan -- Chen Weijen, a Taiwanese who came to Shimane Prefecture in 2008 as an exchange student because of his interest in Japanese mythology, discovered another interest once he arrived, sake.

The beverage was actually pleasant to drink in the land where it is produced.
