TOKYO -- Japan's Asahi Group Foods has made a fresh start in Vietnam's baby food market with a new sales strategy that emphasizes teaching good nutritional habits instead of assuming that consumers automatically associate its brand with quality.

The starting point for its latest move came at a September 2023 symposium in Hanoi on maternal and child health. Japanese and Vietnamese companies participated in the event, including Asahi Group Foods.
