HONG KONG -- Yum China Holdings, the operator of KFC and Pizza Hut in the mainland, reported record revenue and profits for the final quarter and full year in 2024, amid consumption headwinds hitting most of its peers as the world's second-largest economy stagnates.

Though Yum's rapid store expansion pushed revenue upward, same-store sales continued to decline, and management remained cautious on the overall consumption sentiment going forward.
