
TOKYO -- Japanese medical device manufacturer Sysmex and athletic shoe maker Asics are targeting the health and fitness markets in China, India and Indonesia, their CEOs said at the Nikkei Global Management Forum in Tokyo on Tuesday.
"In addition to aging countries such as Japan, emerging markets are moving on to Western medical examination [methods and equipment] from local ones," said Hisashi Ietsugu, chairman and CEO of Sysmex.
