SINGPORE -- It is not uncommon to see crowded food stall complexes in Singapore, but the sheer number of options crammed into one city -- where the locals are hardly known for their patience -- means a long line can only lead to something very special. One such stall shot to fame this summer, when it became the world's cheapest Michelin starred establishment.
The line in front of Liao Fan Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle was already stretching down the corridor at 9:30 a.m. on a recent morning -- still an hour before opening time.
