OSAKA -- A Japanese startup plans to start selling rapid dengue tests in Thailand from January that are able to show results in 15 minutes, down from the current four hours or so.

VisGene, spun off from Osaka University, recently received approval from Thailand's Food and Drug Administration to manufacture and sell the test kit.
