TOKYO -- The Japan Fair Trade Commission on Monday launched a voluntary investigation into four major casualty insurers accused of colluding on premiums for corporate clients, a source familiar with the matter told Nikkei.

Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, Sompo Japan Insurance and Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance have been notified of the probe, according to the source.
