SHANGHAI -- Five Japanese companies will launch an e-commerce service in China this May for wheelchairs and other equipment used in nursing care, to tap growing demand for high-quality, multifunction products among the country's rapidly aging population.
Japanese trading house Sugahara and four others agreed to create a service specifically for Japanese nursing care equipment with the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce and a local nursing care equipment company. This will provide hospitals, nursing homes and individuals easy access to Japanese products.
