TOKYO -- Japanese engineering company JGC has received a roughly 10 billion yen ($97.2 million) order from state-run Bahrain National Gas, part of an industry trend toward smaller projects as resource prices slump.
The deal comes as an addition to a January order for a gas processing facility by an oil field south of the Bahraini capital of Manama. JGC will build storage tanks as well as pipelines connecting them to the plant, which will recover petroleum constituents such as liquefied petroleum gas and naphtha from the gas.
