TOKYO -- Japan Freight Railway and Toyota Tsusho plan to foray into Thailand's rail cargo sector, offering to improve its spotty dependability record with better timetables and network maintenance.
The two have agreed with the State Railway of Thailand to carry out a feasibility study on their overhaul proposals using a rail route running along part of the Southern Economic Corridor, a major international trade road.
