TOKYO -- The president and CEO of scandal-tainted Kobe Steel will meet the press at 3 p.m. today in Tokyo.

Hiroya Kawasaki is expected to talk about the inappropriate conduct that came to light at the Japanese steelmaker and its domestic subsidiaries, including the falsification of data on its aluminum and copper products.
