MANILA -- Asia Brewery, a subsidiary of Philippine conglomerate LT Group, on Friday struck a deal with Heineken International that will allow it to brew the popular Dutch beer brand.
The two companies will form a joint venture called AB Heineken Philippines, aiming to tap the country's growing demand for premium beer. San Miguel currently controls 90% of the overall Philippine beer market.
