JGB market running dry on BOJ's massive purchases

TOKYO -- The secondary market for Japanese government bonds is running dry as a result of massive purchases by the Bank of Japan.

     That view spread among market players as no trading involving newly issued 10-year JGBs took place for the first time in 13 years on April 14.
