SYDNEY -- Australia's mining industry has voiced concerns over expanded worker rights enacted by the government, citing a rise in labor costs.

Tania Constable, CEO of the Minerals Council of Australia, panned the country's regulatory measures during a parliamentary dinner attended Monday by industry leaders.
