SYDNEY -- Australia has downgraded its expected mining export revenue by more than 100 billion Australian dollars ($63 billion) over the next four years due to China's slowing economy, Treasurer Jim Chalmers said on Monday.
On the back of the write-down, which will be reflected in the midyear budget released on Wednesday, Australia expects to receive AU$8.5 billion less in company tax receipts over the period.
