TOKYO -- South Korea's currency has rebounded to its strongest level in about a month against the dollar, with tensions having eased after U.S. President Donald Trump held off on promised tariffs.

The won reached just over 1,428 against the dollar at one point Wednesday, a height last seen in mid-December.
