TOKYO -- Japanese stock prices are showing signs of bottoming out after more than a week of risk-off moves triggered by a July interest rate hike by the Bank of Japan and fears of a U.S. recession.
The Nikkei Stock Average ended up 193 points, or 0.56%, at 35,025 on Friday after gaining more than 800 points earlier in the session.
