Innovative business models with steady profits lure domestic, foreign investors

TOKYO -- Retail investors here continued to flock to small- and midcap shares Tuesday, helping to stretch the Nikkei Jasdaq Stock Average's winning streak to 18 days -- the first such feat in more than a decade.

The engine behind the rally is a group of "10-baggers." The term is normally used for stocks that have shot up 10 times or more from the purchase price, but in this article, it refers to stocks that have skyrocketed at least 10-fold over the past decade. These shares have grabbed the attention of overseas investors as well.
