NAGOYA, Japan -- Toyota Motor is introducing shareholder benefits for the first time, an effort by Japan's most valuable listed company to bring more individual investors on board.

To quality, shareholders must hold 100 or more shares in the world's largest automaker as of the record date of March 31, Toyota said Monday.
