TOKYO -- Indonesian social commerce startup Evermos is eyeing an initial public offering in two years, co-founder Iqbal Muslimin said in an interview with Nikkei Asia, as the five-year-old company aims to serve the over 80% of Indonesians who own a smartphone but do not use e-commerce.

"We have a plan to do an IPO in the next two years," said Muslimin, speaking on the sidelines of the Nikkei Future of Asia conference on May 24. The company is looking at a few venues for its planned share flotation, including the Jakarta market as well as the Nasdaq. "The U.S. is one of our targets," he said.
