Nikkei 225 to replace Furukawa with CyberAgent

Japan's leading indexes ready to undergo annual reshuffle on Oct. 1

TOKYO -- Nikkei Inc. on Wednesday announced it will replace Furukawa Co., Ltd. with CyberAgent, Inc. in the constituent stocks of the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average, effective Oct. 1, as part of its annual review.

CyberAgent will be classified in the consumer goods and services sector owing to its high market liquidity. Furukawa will be removed to adjust the overweighted materials sector.
