HONG KONG (Nikkei Markets) -- Hong Kong shares edged lower on Wednesday, dragged down by losses for Chinese companies, as investors weighed the outcome of a Sino-American trade war truce and concerns lingered over a long-term solution.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.1% to 28,855.14 after rising 1.2% on Tuesday. Heavyweights Tencent Holdings and China Construction Bank lost 0.6% and 1.3%, respectively.
