HONG KONG (Nikkei Markets) -- Hong Kong shares slumped with the rest of Asia on Friday, as worries over the spread of the new coronavirus dampened sentiment after indexes on Wall Street retreated overnight.
The Hang Seng Index fell 2.3% to 26,146.67 on Friday, ending the week little changed. Social media and gaming major Tencent Holdings slid 2.6%, while financial heavyweights AIA Group and HSBC Holdings declined 2.8% and 2.2%, respectively.
