KUALA LUMPUR (Jun 23) -- Malaysia's Apollo Food Holdings, a chocolate confectionery products maker, said Friday its fiscal fourth quarter net profit grew 57.8% on year partly due to higher revenue.
Net profit for the three months ended Apr. 30 stood at 2.70 million ringgit ($630,000) from 1.71 million ringgit a year ago, the company said in an exchange filing. Quarterly revenue grew 12.10% to 59.59 million ringgit versus 53.14 million ringgit in the previous year.
The company expects operating environment to be tougher in the coming financial year due to an increase in cost of raw materials and volatility in ringgit.
