Malaysia's MCE Holdings Gets Contracts To Supply Parts For Perodua New Car Model

KUALA LUMPUR (Jun 23) -- MCE Holdings, Malaysia-based auto part maker, said Friday it has secured contracts to supply various electronic and mechatronic components and parts for UMW Holdings' automotive unit Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua's (Perodua) new car model.

The contracts, expected to commence in first quarter of financial year ending Jul. 31, 2018, are expected to generate total revenue of approximately 60 million ringgit ($13.99 million) for the company over six years, it said in an exchange filing.

The estimated total investment cost for the contracts is one million ringgit, it said.
