Nikkei Markets
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 21) -- Malaysian oil-and-gas services firm Wah Seong Corporation said Thursday it is selling Singapore-incorporated unit WS Agro Industries for $6 million to plantation firm Agro Panorama.

The disposal of WS Agro, an investment holding company, will "streamline, realign and rationalize" business activities within the group, Wah Seong said in an exchange filing. The sale is also part of the initiative to "realize resources tied up in the non-core business within the group," it said.
