Ping An Insurance Jan-Nov Life Insurance Premium Income Up 34.2% On Year

HONG KONG (Dec 12) -- Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China said Tuesday accumulated gross premium income of the life insurance business for January to November was up 34.2%, thanks to individual business growth.

For the 11 months ended Nov. 30, accumulated gross premium income of the life insurance business was 361.6 billion ($54.63 billion) as compared with 269.39 billion year ago, it said in an exchange filing.

The company's individual business grew 36.4% on year supported by increase in both new business and renewal business, it added.
