Vietnam manufacturing PMI remains at softer growth in February

TOKYO -- Growth phase in February was relatively small in Vietnamese manufacturing sector, triggered by the reduction in staffing levels, according to a survey.

The Nikkei Vietnam Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index, or PMI, fell from 51.9 in January to 51.2 in February. Although it kept remaining above the 50-point line separating expansion from contraction, the index has dropped for three months in a row.
