Foreign buyers see Japan property as relatively inexpensive

TOKYO -- Prices for condominiums in central Tokyo continue to rise, and in some cases units are sold for more than three times their price when they were first constructed 10 years ago.

Foreign investors are showing strong interest due to affordability compared to other major cities in the world. Properties around redevelopment projects are receiving particular interest.
