Japanese-style suburban communities set to pop up outside Metro Manila

MANILA -- Japan's Nomura Real Estate Development and Philippine partner Federal Land have begun work on new communities to attract both residents and businesses beyond crowded Metro Manila.

Joint venture Federal Land NRE Global (FNG) is spearheading the work on the communities, which are FNG's first large-scale projects outside Metro Manila.
