HONG KONG -- A building touted as a new Hong Kong landmark is nearing completion in the heart of the city, but a historic downturn in office demand is casting a shadow over its launch.

The Henderson, a roughly 190-meter tall tower in Hong Kong's Central business district, is currently receiving the final touches ahead of its opening later this year. Its unique shape is inspired by the bud of the Bauhinia flower, a symbol of Hong Kong.
