Chance of imminent correction gives investors pause

TOKYO -- Retail and institutional investors alike have been chasing a handful of promising stocks with small and medium market capitalization for some time, and the possibility of a sudden correction in these stocks is beginning to scare many.

Large-cap stocks continue to face such headwinds as low interest rates worldwide and possible appreciation by the yen, so equity fund managers are left with no other alternatives at the moment.
