Shares snap 2-day losses as blue chips gain in late trade

MUMBAI (NewsRise) -- Indian shares rose for the first time in three sessions Wednesday, as cheap valuations lured investors to battered blue chip stocks.

A rebound in European indexes also boosted sentiment and helped Indian shares erase early losses after China's factory activity data fell to a 6-1/2 year low. U.S. stock indexes were poised to open higher.
