Tencent shares jump on hopes for WeChat Pay's overseas expansion

HONG KONG -- Tencent Holdings' share price jumped in Hong Kong on Wednesday to a two-week high, following reports the internet company has applied for a license in Malaysia to offer payment services in local currency on its WeChat Pay platform.
