HO CHI MINH CITY -- Global investors are seeing a slew of Vietnamese companies announcing initial public offerings and partnerships in the U.S. as Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visits the country this week.
The U.S.'s withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the trade agreement under which communist-led Vietnam was supposed to have been a prime beneficiary, has prompted businesses to rush into the U.S. to access capital as well as technology.
