Parts makers for electric and hybrid vehicles are outpacing the market

TOKYO -- Stocks connected to electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids are on the upswing again after a pair of epoch-making decisions from Europe.

In the U.S., Tesla is back on a path to recovery after a steep dive at the beginning of the month. Wednesday marked a four-session winning streak for the electric car manufacturer on the Nasdaq.
