KANAZAWA, Japan -- Kanamori Alloy makes aluminum and copper products using traditional sand casting technology. The company, based in Kanazawa on the Sea of Japan coast, has a reputation for craftsmanship built over more than 300 years, fashioning everything from samurai armor to components for Japan's H-IIA rocket.
