Mazda to roll out six models in Thailand this year

Japanese automaker shoots for 18% rise in sales

BANGKOK -- Mazda Motor looks to boost sales volume by 18% in Thailand this year to 50,000 vehicles, as the automaker releases six models in the country during 2017 including the fully redesigned CX-5 sport utility vehicle.

The new releases kick off Jan. 24 with the partially redesigned Mazda3, known as Axela in Japan. The company released five partially remodeled cars last year.
